FAQ's and Preparation Tips
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will a session last?
Typically 3 1/2 to 4 hours in one session, but some sessions may take longer and some shorter, we really can't put time limits on it. Follow up sessions tend to be shorter. Please don't make any other appointments or major plans for that day following your session. Leave the remainder of the day aside to help process your experience. You will need a cool down period of around 30 mins after your session until you will be able to leave and be safe for driving. This is usually the time it takes to go over your results we find.
On the day of the session is it recommended to take any medication?
By all means carry on with normal prescriptions if you feel them necessary to your comfort, please inform me before hand as to what medications you take. Always consult your Doctor if you have any queries. I do not offer medical advice personally but our aim is to eventually have no need in the future for you to be taking medication long term, this will need to be discussed with your Doctor or local GP.
How does it feel to be hypnotised, will I be in control of the session?
It feels completely natural, as everyone is in the 'Theta' state of mind every day, twice a day. You are always in control of a session as I don't lead you anywhere. Everything in a session will be shown to you for a deep meaningful reason and your subconscious will never give you a situation or experience that you can't handle emotionally.
What is involved in a typical session?
We don't really know what will take place during a session and there is good reason to why that is so. We just let whatever happen, happen and have no expectation other than finding out why you have certain issues present itself to you.
Will I be shown a past life during my session?
It's possible when we do a regression that we are shown 'past lives' however it's important to keep that expectation away too, we go to the source of these issues and they may indeed manifested in a past life.
What is the Higher Self?
It's you! It's the part of the mind that remembers everything about you and is found deep within the subconscious. It knows what you are meant to get from the session and it will be the ultimate director of what is shown to you. If you can keep the analytical part of the brain out of the equation then you will have a better chance in accessing it. This can be made easier by daily meditations and of course, following my instructions.
Will I need further sessions in the future?
Yes, quite possibly, some people will benefit greatly from repeat sessions, although one session can be all you need. For those that didn't really know what to expect, and who does unless you've done something similar before, then a second session could be more helpful. If you feel you need a new set circumstances addressed in the months/years to come because they have changed then, by all means, feel free to book another session. Ultimately, once you have established a connection with your higher self though, it is always there helping you on your way, long after your initial session.
Will my session be recorded?
Yes, and you will be given a choice of having a video recording (mp4) or an audio (mp3) recording. It's very important to listen/watch it as much as your healing is required until you start to feel that the healing is complete, this could be daily, weekly or every month or so. Definitely keep the recording safe and if you notice old patterns returning then pop your headphones on and find a quiet time to watch/listen to it again, just before bedtime or when you awake is ideal. I highly recommend that you choose to video the session, as it is much better at conveying emotions and ultimately creating a more enhanced experience.
What if I can't be Hypnotised?
This is a rare occurrence, generally though, these are the type of people that don't really want help. Strong intentions will help you have a better trance and gain better results. Hypnosis is really such a natural state of mind that you will probably not feel any difference until you get of the couch/bed. Please refer to the video playlist at the bottom of this page, these videos are perfect for those people who want to get the most from their experience and help cast those doubts to the side.
Do I need to choose a particular method of hypnosis?
Yes and no. QHHT session can't be done online, however my other techniques have been designed to be conducted online as well as in person. If you are here in person then I will use whichever technique I believe will work best for you and your circumstances on the day of your session, unless you request a particular method.
What are Surrogate sessions?
These types of sessions have just been added to my practice and have been tried and tested with outstanding results. Based on the premise that we all connected on a conscious level, we can use a surrogate. This is usually a family member who will stand in for a client who simply wouldn't otherwise be able to be put under hypnosis. The session is then carried out as normal but with permission from the surrogate and the client. We proceed as normal, as in a typical session, and find the necessary healing or relief for the client through the surrogate.
What are the typical costs for a session and are refunds offered?
My sessions are set as an introductory price to help build up my business and are very competitive at the moment. Please take advantage of these prices as they are very reasonable compared with similar techniques. Other Hypnotherapists normally charged from anything from £50-£100 per hour depending on the therapy. My rate isn't set by time and is charged per session and is fixed so you know exactly what you need to pay before we begin. My sessions are focusing on you finding your intention and wellbeing, however long that may take on the day.
On very rare occasions I have offered partial and/or full refunds- these situations are normally discussed after the session and this decision rests with my professional judgement. On these rare occasions, I will be happy to recommend other practices or treatments that are available in the area. Please remember, the results of a productive session will still rely greatly on how well you process your session in the days/weeks/months after your session, so please allow this time for your experience to settle in. Follow up sessions are offered at a reduced rate and are usually shorter. I have witnessed many a great session with so many positive changes in people's lives, these are the main focal points for both my clients and I, while still offering piece of mind in your time and money. You are investing in your own future and, in that, you will find great value and prosperity.
